Verse of the Day: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9 NIV

Things that are awesome:  Jake and Amir.  These two guys have a show on college humor.com that is basically hilarious.  The premise is two co-workers, Jake and Amir, who have all sorts of hysterical conversations and mishaps because Amir is SUPER quirky and Jake is so.. NOT (or so he thinks).  This video is one of my favorites- check it out.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIV8G2UCyGc , http://www.collegehumor.com/video/6354656/jake-and-amir-auto-tune-the-news

House Quote of the Day: "Your treatment of patients is... non-existant because you're not a real doctor... Sign here please." (House, reading a performance review to Cuddy).

Far Side of the Day:

Urban Dictionary Word of the Day: Chiptease=When you buy a bag of chips thinking that it will be full of chips but when you open the bag it's barely full.

Psych Fact of the Day: Thomas Szasz= famous for writing a book called the "myth of mental illness" in which he argues that mental illness does not really exist; that people labeled this way aren't "ill" but simply behaving in ways that go against social norms. Labeling people is harmful, he argued; instead psychologists should focus on getting to the bottom of the abberant behaviors and teaching them to adjust.
