Verse of the Day: “[Thanksgiving] I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge—” 1 Corinthians 1:4-5 NIV

Things that are awesome:  .. Drug testing for welfare recipients.  Oklahoma, Florida, Louisiana, Tenessee are just a few of the states who have passed, or are considering passing, a law requiring people requesting wellfare to pass a drug test first.  This is awesome not only in the fact that it is only fair to hardworking tax payers, who don't want to cover food for people who are using THEIR money to do drugs, but also for the welfare recipients themselves, in that this is a great source of accountability and motivator to get clean, if they are not.  Yay justice!!

House Quote of the Day: "How many times have you lied to the transplant committee?" (13) "Twice" (House) "And how many times has it worked?" (13) "I.... don't see how that's relevant" (H)

Far Side of the Day:

Urban Dictionary Word of the Day: crises wall managment=Posting a message on facebook that initiates a wall war between two friends that do not know each other which compels the poster to delete posts, send instant messages and texts to quell the skirmish.

Psych Fact of the Day: Karen Carpenter, who died of anorexia in 1983, is the celebrity known for bringing the disease into the public eye for the first time.
