Verse of the Day: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Cor 9:7)

Things that are awesome: .. Hanging out with my dad.  Yesterday we had a mini-road trip together so he could take me to my exam in St. Cloud, and tonight we baked a pie and played banannagrams. :)  We've recently become prayer partners as well. Yay dads!!

House Quote of the Day: "I did it ALL BY MYSELF mommy." (House, to Cuddy, after finishing a case).

Far Side of the Day:

Urban Dictionary Word of the Day: chipmunking=The act of watching numerous recorded university lectures at 2x speed in a futile attempt to cover an entire semesters material the day before the final exam.

Psych Fact of the Day: According to memory research, people's memory of things they just learned drops off sharply the first few days, then levels off after that. (e.g. after studying and taking a test, you forget a lot the first few days, then not too much more after that... even if you study it again months later, you'll still have the same amount of recall you did a few days after you first learned it.)
