Things that are awesome:

I first heard about this ministry at church as a junior higher, and it has been a traditional part of our holiday season as a family ever since.  Basically every year this ministry sends millions of boxes full of toys, art supplies, toiletries, etc to kids all over the world who might otherwise not recieve anything for Christmas.  Every year my dad and I go out and each of us make a box (sometimes my mom does too)- it is so much fun!  You get to pick boy or girl, and your age group, and then go crazy filling it with all sorts of fun things.  If you're organized enough, you can even work at the factory where they pack up the boxes to send them out- I"ve done that too! The whole ministry is just a great chance to do something really fun and simple for someone who doesn't have much! The boxes this year are due at drop off locations Nov 12-19.
